We are looking for Chef de Partie (X2) for our client in Norway.

The restaurant is a solid and financially stable business that was established in what is now Norway's 7th largest city, Sandnes (14 km from Stavanger) in Rogaland County south of the West Coast in 1949.

Currently are 5 chefs in the kitchen, and they are looking to increase the Team with 2 more Chefs.

The menu includes hot and cold tapas as well as traditional Norwegian food. And they deliver a lot of catering to both private individuals and companies in the local market.

The business is located with a restaurant in Sandnes City and a restaurant in the neighbouring municipality of Sola. Opening hours are from 11:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Both restaurants have banquet facilities for 80 - 110 people.


Duration of the contracts:
**100% permanent position. Normally after a 3-6 month trial period.
**Salary p/hour before TAX:
Monthly salary depending on education and experience.
(in accordance with the nationwide tariff for chefs in Norway).

Working hours per week / Overtime:
**As per Norwegian legislation is followed with an additional 40% of the hourly wage.
**The working hours are 7 days with rotation. Off every other weekend and one day a week. **Normally 160 hours a month.
The latest working time is 9:00 PM which can occur during some busy periods sometimes.

Accommodation:
**The candidate must rent/own and pay for a place to live.
But the Employer will be helpful in the process of finding a suitable home.

Meals:
**Meal is included.
Working Clothes
**Provided by the restaurant.
Taxes:
**The candidate pays a 25% withholding tax, but the candidate can change this after a while if the person in question lives permanently in Norway.

Other information:
The candidate must have focus and "heart" on the daily activity and find their role understanding in that there is no goal to be or become a "Star Chef". But a hardworking chef who finds joy in making traditional Norwegian food from scratch with shared values such as sustainability and no food waste.

Requirements:
**The candidate must be able to communicate/communicate well in English as the working language.
**A professional certificate is not an absolute requirement, but an advantage.
