As our Quality Engineer, you will support operational and development programs by utilizing advanced engineering and problem-solving skills to enable and deliver zero-defect projects. You will be responsible for ensuring robust and capable production processes, materials, tools, component manufacturing, and assembly.

Job Information
In this role, you are primarily responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the high level of quality. With a Zero Defects mindset, you translate customer quality requirements and expectations into the internal organization and towards suppliers. Additionally, you will:

Support the measurement room in handling customer complaints, ensuring correct and timely resolution of quality complaints or issues through a carefully prepared 8D root cause analysis.
Initiate and coordinate corrective and preventive measures aimed at optimizing quality using various quality-related tools (PPAP, 8D, Pareto analysis, Fishbone 5x Why, FMEA, etc.).
Promote the Zero Defects mindset and focus on the First Time Right approach within the organization and towards the supply chain.
Coach and guide the internal organization and suppliers on quality-related matters.
Conduct internal and external audits and ensure appropriate follow-up on audit findings.
Be highly involved in NPI (New Product Introduction) processes and ECN (Engineering Change Notices), ensuring proper quality assurance through CTQ (Critical to Quality) tracking & flow down.

Job Requirements
You have:
- A technical degree (Bachelor’s level or higher).
- 3 to 5 years of work experience in a technical environment, preferably in precision machining or mechatronics.
- Experience with a production-related ERP system.
- Knowledge of machining techniques and the ability to read component and assembly drawings.
- Basic knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, etc.).
- An inspiring and approachable personality, with a customer- and supplier-oriented mindset.
- Affinity with (statistical) data analysis, Orange Belt or Green Belt certification is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels, both inside and outside the organization.
- Fluency in English, spoken and written.
