Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in residents’ rooms, bathrooms, dining areas, corridors, sitting rooms, and visitor/staff facilities.
• Respond promptly to spillages and ensure a safe, hygienic environment at all times.
• Collect and dispose of domestic and clinical waste safely.
• Keep furniture, windows, skirting boards, handrails, and shared spaces dust-free and fresh.
• Support meal service by setting up trays and dining tables, collecting trays afterwards, and ensuring crockery, cutlery, and tearooms are kept spotless.
• Safely operate and store cleaning products and equipment, ensuring trolleys and storage areas are tidy and secure.
• Follow safe working practices and ensure all equipment is used correctly.
• Restock housekeeping trolleys at the end of each shift to prepare for the next day.
