Role Summary:

The HR Officer leads human resources activities across the company, ensuring effective recruitment, employee development, compliance, and employee relations. This role supports a positive, productive workplace culture aligned with organisational values and business goals. The HR Officer collaborates closely with Business & Finance, department heads, and executive leadership to implement HR policies and foster talent growth.

Job Responsibilities:
o Manage full-cycle recruitment processes including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.
o Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and compliance with labour laws and regulations.
o Oversee employee records, time tracking, leave management, and HR reporting.
o Support employee development initiatives such as training, performance reviews, and career planning.
o Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues, conflict resolution, and organisational changes.
o Coordinate payroll, benefits administration, and employee wellness programs in collaboration with Finance and external providers.
o Facilitate internal communication related to HR policies and organisational updates.
o Monitor HR metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management.
o Promote a positive work environment that encourages diversity, equity, and inclusion.
o Lead or support HR projects such as organisational development, succession planning, and change management.
o Any other tasks or requirements deemed necessary by direct supervisor or top management.

Performance Management:
o Effectiveness of recruitment and retention strategies.
o Compliance with legal and internal HR policies.
o Employee satisfaction and engagement metrics.
o Timeliness and accuracy of HR administration and reporting.
o Support to management and employee relations.

Education and Experience:
o Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
o Proven experience in HR management or HR generalist roles, ideally in service or quality-focused industries.
o Strong knowledge of labour laws and HR best practices.
o Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
o Proficient in HR software, Microsoft Office, and reporting tools.
o Fluent in English; Portuguese or other languages advantageous.
