PPM Coachers is recruiting for the position of Senior Developer!

Your mission:

• Develop and extend scalable, highly-available, and resilient microservices and optionally their associated web applications.


• Translate product ideas from our business departments into deployable code based on modern standards and technology.


• Integrate internal and external applications via synchronous and asynchronous interfaces such as REST, gRPC, and Kafka.


• Manage application data persistence using tools like Managed Database Services.


• Leverage well-known cloud services from Amazon, Google, and Microsoft.


• Contribute ideas to continuously improve our development processes and workflows.


• Collaborate with an international, agile team in a stable economic environment, working primarily remotely with colleagues based in Germany.

• Experience in building horizontally scalable microservices architectures.


• Experience working with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).


• Strong knowledge of multithreading and concurrency management in application development.


• Solid understanding of high-performance systems and ability to tune the JVM for low-latency, high-throughput applications.


• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for real-time stream processing.


• Proficiency in working with MongoDB, including designing efficient and scalable NoSQL schemas.


• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, as well as cloud-native application design principles.


• Comfortable working in an agile, remote team environment with CI/CD workflows.


• Open-minded and adaptable, willing to work with new technologies and languages (e.g., Node.js, React, Angular) when required.


• Fluent in English, with the ability to understand and clearly communicate complex ideas.

Location: Venda do Pinheiro, Mafra (Candidates must be based in Portugal for at least 6 months)
