BL Consulting is recruiting, for a prestigious company, a SENIOR LEGAL ADVISER, for ALGÉS, for a Permanent Placement position.
Requirements:
- Academic Requirements: Bachelors or masters degree in law;
- Specialty in Energy and Commercial Law (valued);
- Up to 7 years of general experience and at least 3 years of experience in energy law, preferably in a law firm or in the legal team of an energy company;
- Experience in interacting with Regulatory Entities such as the ERSE, the Courts and Arbitration Centers and União Europeia energy regulations;
- Knowledge of Portugal energy regulation, especially in the electricity market;
- Knowledge and experience in compliance matters, knowledge of ISO 37301 - Certification of compliance management systems (valued);
- Experience on resolution of employee queries on issues related to compliance and ethical conduct;
- Advanced knowledge of IT;
- Fluency in Portuguese, English and Spanish (mandatory);
-Easy access to Algés.
Main Responsibilities:
- Commercial Law: Advising on day-to-day operation;
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring that the company complies with Portugal and EU energy regulations, including market rules, licensing and environmental requirements;
- Contract Management: Drafting, reviewing and negotiating power purchase agreements, grid connection contracts and supply agreements;
- Corporate and Commercial Law: Advising on corporate governance;
- Complaints, Litigation and Dispute Resolution: Identifying and managing legal risks, monitoring disputes and supporting alternative dispute resolution strategies, managing customer and third party complaints;
- Regulatory and Stakeholder Relations: Interacting with regulatory authorities, industry bodies and government entities on compliance policies and conditions;
- Risk Assessment: Identifying and mitigating legal risks related to operations, investments and business strategy;
- Monitoring and disseminating the Compliance program;
- Managing the companys complaints channel: Analyzing, managing and resolving any complaints received from start to finish, in conjunction with the Compliance area;
-Other duties inherent to the professional category.
