Accounting and Tax Manager

• Lead the financial operations and drive excellence in accounting practices in Portugal;


• Reporting directly to the Regional South Finance Director.

Description

• Oversee all aspects of financial reporting, accounting cycle, monthly closings, budgeting, tax and compliance;


• Ensuring the company's financial health;


• Managing the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring adherence to local and international accounting standards and tax compliance;


• Support strategic initiatives aimed at reducing costs for packaging solutions.

Profile

• Academic degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field;


• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a similar role;


• Registered at Ordem dos Contabilistas Certificados (OCC) - mandatory;


• Experience in an international working environment is highly preferred;


• Experience with SAP it's a plus;


• Fluent in English (mandatory);


• Strategic mindset, organizational skills, attention to detail and adaptability in dynamic environments;


• Ability to work autonomously while adapting to changing priorities.
