About the job
The Head of Sales &
Marketing (f/m/d) will be responsible for developing and implementing sales/business development strategies for the company's medical cannabis products. This position holder will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with key stakeholders, including medical cannabis pharmaceutical wholesalers and distributors globally. The Head of Sales (f/m/d) will also be responsible for developing and building pipelines in target markets. The company was founded in 2021, our team is growing fast in 2025, you will report directly into the CEO.
Main responsibilities
• Implement a sales and
marketing strategy for the company's medical cannabis products.
• Identify new business opportunities and build relationships with key stakeholders.
• Develop business plans for the company’s new strategic areas and products.
• Develop and execute
marketing campaigns to promote the company's products.
• Manage the budget for sales and
marketing activities and track performance against targets.
• Create educational materials for stakeholders
• Be present at the most relevant medical cannabis events.• Analyse market data to inform sales and
marketing efforts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.
About the candidates we are looking for
• 3-5 years of experience in Sales and Business Development in Medical Cannabis Industry or Pharmaceutical Industry.
• Strong communication skills, digital and agility mindset, great networking capabilities.
• Analytical skills to use sales data, customer insights, and competitive analysis for decision-making.
• Expertise in using
CRM tools to track customer relationships and sales pipelines effectively.
• Professional English C2 and Portuguese proficiency. Other languages as German or French is a plus.
• Sales and business development experience opening up new international markets.
• Must have knowledge of the medical cannabis industry and regulations in Europe, other markets is a plus.
