In the heart of the picturesque town of Lichtervelde, our Belgian client stands out as a true leader in the world of ecological cardboard solutions. Their mission is to create innovative, sustainable products that meet the needs of various industries, from food to cosmetics.
Thanks to advanced technology and a wide range of printing presses, the company constantly raises standards in terms of quality and production efficiency. Each product offered is not only a guarantee of aesthetics and functionality, but above all care for the environment.
Currently, their team of specialists is looking for experienced offset printers.
Offset printers
Lichtervelde
Responsibilities:
• Printing machine configuration (5-colour KBA Rapida 142) and achieving production targets
Responsibility for print preparation and management of ink, varnish and other consumables stocks
Ensuring periodic preventive maintenance and maintaining order and cleanliness on and around the printing machine
Independently repairing machine faults and reporting major problems to the supervisor or technical team
Active participation in initiatives aimed at continuous improvement of the printing process, quality and efficiency
Work in a 3-shift system (morning/afternoon/night)
Requirements:
2-3 years of experience as an offset printer
Technical qualifications in printing at A2/A3 level or equivalent professional experience
Experience in multi-color offset printing; experience in printing on solid board or CBA is an additional asset
Ability to work in a team
Attention to detail and an excellent sense of quality and safety
Communicative knowledge of English
We offer:
Attractive salary based on Belgian contract: €17.5/h + €3.4 food checks for each day worked
Reimbursement of costs for first arrival in Belgium: €250
Bonuses: 13th month, holiday money, mileage allowance, family allowance, health and
accident insurance
Constant assistance of English-speaking coordinators
Accommodation near the workplace: single room
