Description
- Lead the implementation of the Regional Finance strategy, encompassing finance-focused initiatives in Portugal
- Act as a strategic partner to the Managing Director, and collaborate closely with other local departments
- Oversee the annual business planning and forecasting processes for Portugal
- Guarantee the accuracy of local financial records in alignment with local regulations
- Oversee the process for the annual legal audit
- Develop reports and presentations to guide the management of the Portuguese operations
- Manage the monthly accounting close process and provide financial reports to the headquarters
- Contribute to ad hoc analyses for business expansions, acquisitions, and the integration of new entities
- Evaluate investment proposals and oversee the preparation of investment approval requests
Profile
- Degree in Finance, Management, Accounting or similar areas
- 3 years experience as a Financial Specialist/Controller
- Certified Accountant - mandatory
- Background on industrial or logistics operations is important
- Great analytical and problem-solving skills
- Team player
- Hands on approach
- Fluent in english
- Good ERP knowledge
