What we're looking for?
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated processes for application deployment, infrastructure provisioning, and system monitoring. The role requires strong expertise in cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), and collaboration with developers to enhance productivity, security, and scalability. The focus is on optimizing Cloud & DevOps practices within Optimizer’s existing framework, supporting ongoing projects, and ensuring operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scalable infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Automate provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance of cloud and on-premises environments.
- Implement and manage container orchestration systems (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
- Ensure alignment with Optimizer’s Cloud & DevOps standards.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline code integration and deployment.
- Ensure high availability and resilience of build and deployment processes.
- Continuously improve deployment processes to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Collaborate with developers to enhance continuous integration and continuous deployment practices.
- Implement security best practices in the CI/CD process and cloud infrastructure.
- Monitor for vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with internal and external standards (e.g., GDPR, NIS2).
- Contribute to the development of automated security policies and procedures.
- Deploy and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure system reliability.
- Troubleshoot issues and respond to incidents to maintain high system availability.
- Conduct root cause analysis and develop strategies for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and QA teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure, processes, and standards.
- Provide technical guidance to junior team members.
Profile and Requirements:
• 2-4 years of experience in DevOps or similar roles.
• Experience in enterprise-grade cloud environments.
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards (GDPR, NIS2).
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Strong knowledge of
Linux systems and scripting (Bash, Python).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Understanding of networking concepts (DNS, VPN, Load Balancing).
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, ELK Stack, Grafana).
• Collaboration and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps principles.
