Qualifications * Basic understanding of the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS)
Skills and ability to recognise, understand and deal with potential security threats
Fully qualified with a proven record of competence for the position
An above-average level of fitness and skills in tactful, diplomatic crisis and problem solving
Good English language skills, both written and oral
(SSP), Security Standard Procedures and other Standard Procedures that impact the security
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES * Maintain security of the ship and the implementation of the SSP and Standard Procedures.
Responsible for gangway security & access control.
Inspect and patrol premises regularly
Undertake security patrols of Restricted, Controlled and Vulnerable areas.
Have a well-developed understanding of the operation and management of CCTV recording and monitoring equipment
Monitor surveillance cameras
Compiling statements and reports.
Reporting all crimes, incidents and safeguarding matters.
