Support daily plant production processes and serve as a technical expert to the production team, also be a backup production coordinator covering manager when needed and provide technical support for production activities and leading applicable projects.
Develop and implement a technical strategy and technical improvements for the
Sintra production processes in line with the sites’s manufacturing strategy and the overall company targets. Deliver OEE improvement by identification and remediation of technical / plant issues – primarily rate and quality losses. As a member of the Site Leadership Team the incumbent will be fully involved in developing and subsequent delivery of the Site Manufacturing Strategy. Also responsible for Process safety and MOC processes.
Job Responsabilities:
Support the
Sintra Manufacturing Strategy actively in developing improved production processes on the
Sintra Site.
Support the
Sintra Leadership Team in developing and delivering the Site Value Gap.
Support the sites MANEX processes by taking the lead role for SAQ’s NPI and ESG
Develop and support the sites CAPEX projects.
Provide technical competency training and assessments where required.
Act as responsible manager for the site EMoC system including monthly and quarterly review process
Support in technical investigations resulting from incidents or customer complaints.
Improve the sites Continuous Improvement process by ensuring active involvement from all stakeholders.
Act as Responsible Manager for recipe changes
Give technical support to production when required
Champion and engage in lean process improvement tools incl. leading 5S, RCPS and PD-board meetings.
Ensure full MoC, PTW and other SHE requirements for technical processes in various business environments.
Manage and develop junior technical employees / undergraduates on adhoc basis.
Responsible for Process Safety including HAZOP, PHR processes

Requirements:
Degree or equivalent (Chem Eng / Eng preferred, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Industry Management)
Minimum 5 years chemical/petrochemical industry, in production or a process engineering management function, ideally with Seveso responsibility.
