Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience: 3-year degree in a Computer Science-related subject and 5 years of experience in an IT environment.
Windows Scripting: 5 years of experience in Windows scripting.
Networking (TCP/IP, SNMP, SMTP): 5 years of experience in network administration and troubleshooting.
Alerting and Monitoring: 5 years of experience in alerting and monitoring systems.
Windows Servers Security and Hardening: 5 years of experience in Windows security and hardening.
Windows Active Directory: 5 years of experience with Active Directory.
Backup and Recovery: 5 years of experience with backup products and Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software.
Technical Environment, Tools, and Products:
- Windows Server Systems in Heterogeneous Networks: 5 years of experience with MS Windows 2003 servers or higher.
- TCP/IP Data Networks (DNS, DHCP): 5 years of experience in data network administration.
- System Management Tools: 5 years of experience in implementing and managing system management tools.
- MS XP Workstations: 5 years of experience with XP workstations.
- MS Windows Server 2003 or Higher: 5 years of experience in installation, administration, and problem-solving for MS Windows Server 2003 or higher.
- Web Server Software (MS IIS and/or Apache): 5 years of experience with the administration of web server software like IIS.
- Network Security and Overall IT Security: 5 years of experience in firewall administration, VPN, and public key infrastructure (PKI) deployment.
- Centralised Network Backup Systems: 5 years of experience with products such as Backup Exec, Veeam Backup, NetApp Snap Manager, Legato.
- Microsoft Virtual Servers and/or VMware: 5 years of experience with Hyper-V and VMware administration.
