Our client, an insurance company located in Lisbon, are looking for a Underwriting Assistance to join the team.

Principais responsabilidades

The Underwriting Assistance will perform the following responsibilities:

• Entry and processing of policies on the underwriting systems;


• Recording and matching of cash receipts;


• Processing settlements;


• Communication with brokers and capacity providers;


• Preparing monthly bordereaux;


• Work closely with underwriters in the UK and Portugal;


• Effective operation of risk controls, adhere to underwriting compliance checks, monitor premium closings and credit control;


• Preparing quarterly accounts bordereaux for capacity providers;


• Claims administration.

Perfil desejado

They are looking for candidates with the following profile:

• Education Degree;


• Attention to detail;


• Analytical mind and capacity to absord information;


• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;


• Strong organizational skills;


• Proactive individual and team player;


• Fluent in English;


• Minimum of 2 years experience in Insurance (mandatory).
