Description


  • Manage the financial area, ensuring the development and implementation of efficient procedures to guarantee the accuracy of financial information;

  • Prepare monthly profit & loss statements, balance sheets and financial analysis statements;

  • Develop and monitor financial and operational KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and optimisation opportunities;

  • Responsible for the development of employees to increase the level of talent for the company;

  • Develop and manage annual and general company budgets;

  • Prepare comprehensive economic reports for the group's headquarters;

  • Evaluate the finance department, oversee internal audits, cost accounting, and budget controls;

  • Coordinate monthly and annual accounting closings;

  • Direct internal controls for financial reporting and management activities;

  • Ensure compliance with all activities related to the annual external audit;

  • Manage general ledger activities and allocate resources among various corporate entities;

  • Implement continuous improvement plans for a more efficient organisation;

  • Promote efficient and transparent communication within the department and across all organisational units;

  • Ensure ongoing improvement in health, safety, and environmental conditions;

  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of organisational policies;

  • Foster a culture of strong work ethics and active involvement among employees across all areas.


Profile


  • Master degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or similar;

  • Minimum of 10 years in business roles with a track record of increasing responsibilities developed in industry;

  • Certified Accountant required;

  • Exceptional leadership abilities;

  • Strong problem-solving capabilities;

  • Proficient computer skills;

  • Comprehensive understanding of the national tax and accounting systems;

  • In-depth knowledge of international accounting standards;

  • Familiarity with change management principles and processes;

  • Practical knowledge of Health and Safety systems and procedures;


  • Understanding of quality management systems.
