We are looking for a production machine operator for our client in the Antwerp region.
The company is the largest coffee roaster in Belgium and an important player in the European private label coffee market.
The company offers a comprehensive service and strives to provide excellent quality.
It produces a wide range of coffee products: beans, roasted and ground coffee, pads and a wide range of capsules.
The person in this position is responsible for:
- Setting machine parameters
- Re-arming machines when production changes
- Adjusting labelling machines according to product parameters
- Packing coffee in capsules and packaging materials
- Detecting and fixing defects on the production line
- Troubleshooting problems on the production line
- Controlling the quality of packaged coffee according to standards
- Communicating with other operators and production staff
- At the beginning of your shift, you run the production line with the team leader
- After making sure everything is running smoothly, you start quality control
- Every hour you check that the coffee is properly packed and formed
- In case of problems, you first check the error message on the machine and try to solve the problem yourself
- More serious problems you report to the team leader
- Throughout the shift you keep track of what has already been packed and what is still to be packed
- At the end of the shift you communicate with the operators of the next shift about the progress of the shift
We offer:
- Contract under Belgian conditions: 13st, kilometer allowance, holiday pay, health and accident insurance, family allowance
- Attractive salary 17.40€ + food vouchers 8€ for each day worked
- Accommodation near the workplace in a private single room
- Permanent assistance of Polish-speaking coordinators
- You will start with a temporary work contract, and after a year there is a possibility to get a permanent work contract
What we require:
- Experience as a machine operator (minimum one year)
- A person who has worked in the repair of packaging machines is welcome - such a person already knows the whole process and training does not take long then
- Willingness to work two shifts: 6-14, 14-22
- Good command of English and willingness to learn Dutch
