Position Available: Laboratory Technician / IT Support
The British School of Lisbon (BSL) is seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking, and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Laboratory Technician / IT Support starting in August 2024.

Responsibilities:
. Provide technical support to teachers, students, and staff in laboratory settings and IT-related issues
. Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper functioning for educational activities
. Install and configure hardware and software in accordance with school requirements
. Offer basic IT training to staff and students as needed
. Assist in inventory management of laboratory equipment and IT supplies
. Implement cybersecurity measures and ensure data protection compliance
. Requirements:
. Relevant Bachelor’s Degree
. Minimum 3 years of working experience
. Strong subject knowledge and proficiency in English
. Ability to work collaboratively in a team
. Inter-culturally aware with excellent interpersonal skills
. Willingness to contribute to the school's vision and extra-curricular activities
Desirable qualifications:
. Experience in a school environment, preferably with children aged 3 to 16
. Experience teaching in the UK or British curriculum schools
. Child protection training
