The Role:

As a community manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the building and
managing our member community, while ensuring a productive environment and efficient
day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:

As the primary representative of SITIO, your role involves a multifaceted approach to
fostering community engagement and ensuring a seamless experience for members. Key
responsibilities include lead follow-up, member onboarding, facilitating connections,
coordinating collaborative efforts, event planning, and program development. Your
overarching goal is to cultivate a culture centered on proximity, exceptional service, strong
interpersonal connections, and a proactive problem-solving mindset. You will serve as the
welcoming face of the community, greeting members warmly, managing deliveries,
organizing community activities like breakfast gatherings, and overseeing operational tasks
such as supplier management and order coordination. Additional duties may include:
• Build solid relations with members, partners, suppliers and potential leads;
• Active search for new leads and partners;
• Ensure our CRM and documentation is up to date;
• Address customer needs in a timely manner;
• Monitor, track and report on feedback and complaints;
• Organize and manage events to boost brand awareness and community building;
• Actively collect content for our social media & engage for new communication
opportunities;
• Ensure the good condition of our facilities and help coordinate and implement
maintenance efforts;
• Stay up-to-date with digital & tech trends.

You are:

• Energetic, naturally collaborative, self-motivated & adaptable;
• Detail-oriented, critical-thinker and a problem-solver;
• Fluent in Portuguese and English (additional languages are a plus);
• Passionate about people, communities, and innovation & tech;

• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities;
• Excellent in communicating in oral and written form;
• Open to learn about building management & operations;

Requirements:

• Experience in community engagement or similar role;
• A startup mindset - you brainstorm new ideas and make them a reality;
• Positive, “no task is too small” attitude;
• Excellent social media know-how;
• Experience in identifying and tracking relevant community KPIs;
• Experience planning and promoting events;
• Passion for fostering collaborative spaces and relationships;
• Expert knowledge of Lisbon’s business/startup community - trends, people &
organizations, is a plus;
• BSc degree in Marketing, Management or Hospitality, is valued.
