ABOUT THE PROJECT
It is a leading free streaming television service in America, delivering 100+ live and original channels and thousands of on-demand movies in partnership with major TV networks, movie studios, publishers, and digital media companies. Millions of viewers tune in each month to watch premium news, TV shows, movies, sports, lifestyle, and trending digital series. The service is available on all mobile, web, and connected TV streaming devices.
WHAT YOU’LL BE UP TO:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features;
Design software system architecture, components, and unit tests;
Explore innovative technologies and solutions to fulfill business requirements;
Develop and maintain a wide range of front-end and back-end applications using
multiple languages, standards, and libraries;
Configure and develop cloud solutions to host and distribute web-based APIs, applications, and services;
Regularly report progress to a project manager or Scrum Master;
Write technical documents;
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize
development efficiency.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE:
Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Fullstack Engineer;
Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, React.js, TypeScript, Webpack, State Management libs);
Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. C#, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Node.js, Dino);
Experience in identifying and resolving issues in software applications as well as optimizing performance by analyzing and profiling code;
Strong ability to troubleshoot / debug issues;
Disciplined in writing unit tests, test code coverage;
English Intermediate+.
WOULD BE A PLUS:
OTT Connected TV / Smart TV / Embedded Devices app development experience;
Experience in React Native, native mobile platform development like Android with Kotlin and IOS with Swift;
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
