Our client is an Multinational Company operating in the fitness sector:
Country Manager (m/f) – Ref: (CM – 122)
Lisbon
Mission:
-Reporting hierarchically and functionally to the Iberia Managing Director, and hierarchically to the Regional Director Europe, will have direct responsibility on all Portugal Subsidiary Departments.
The mission of the role will be the achievement of Sales, Profitability and Cash Flow targets in all the market segment of the country Portugal.
The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:
-To guarantee the process implementation and continuous improvement in the country through proper organizational actions;
-To guarantee proper market coverage according to plans;
-To guarantee adequate market feedback by implementing and developing the local market intelligence through the use of internal systems , interacting with other countries and exploiting the related synergies;
-To implement the Total Wellness Solution concept in the assigned country;
-To guarantee the customer satisfaction in the Portuguese market;
-To guarantee the local brand positioning in accordance with company brand strategy;
-To lead and develop assigned human capital respecting, implementing and monitoring in Portugal.
Skills:
- University degree, MBA is an advantage;
- Professional qualification in accounting and audit background;
- Professional experience of five years as Country Manager of a commercial branch in a multinational company or as Sales & Marketing Director;
- Background in field sales / key accounting, followed by a marketing experience, culminating in a role with commercial / MD responsibility;
- A deep knowledge of the Portuguese market and be familiar with a capital / durable goods market;
- Ability to think and act strategically and see strategy through to execution;
- Proven track record of business development / results within a consumer-focused environment.
- Strong leadership which inspires colleagues and customers alike in both Portugal and Iberia;
- People developer with high degree of empathy, who sets objectives and lead individual performance and growth;
- Previous significant experience in similar roles in B2B and B2C markets;
- Fluent in English;
- Fluent in Spanish.
