Adecco, the World Leader in Human Resources, recruits Distribution – Buyer/Coordinator for your company in Cascais.

Summary: This individual will have extensive experience with Portugal and other EU companies and will manage the relationships with all the factories. The candidate is required to have an excellent background and experience with products and distribution. The ideal candidate will include, but not limited to:
Manage the purchasing of products for the company
Coordinate all products and product lines with the Angolan office
Work closely with all the manufacturers/distributors to ensure the products are meeting all the necessary requirements
Search and propose new products and opportunities that would be interesting for the growth of the company
Negotiating prices, quantities, and shipments with suppliers
Ability to work independently and manage relationships extremely well
Coordinate with logistics and finance teams to ensure all business is aligned
Align the purchasing and product strategy with cross-functional teams and Angola store locations and office

Skills:
- Background and experience in a similar role (past experiences with Multi-nationals or large companies in Portugal would be an asset).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be professional and highly motivated
- Bilingual – English and Portuguese (French/Italian is a plus)
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to coordinate well in a team environment
- Technical background (Engineering) would be an asset, but not a requirement.
- Knowledge of purchasing principles and practices
- Experience in International trade would be an asset.
- Non-Smoker (because Managing Director is allergic to smoke)
