Our client is an International Luxury Hotels Group based in China (Hong Kong) with hotels around the world.
Senior Manager - Architectural & Planning (m/f)
Hong Kong
Mission:
- You will manage the provision of architectural and planning services in support of all new projects and renovation projects for Peninsula Hotels and other commercial businesses, reporting directly to the General Manager of General Design and Planning Manager. You will work with all members of Design & Planning team at the Head Office (and relevant project support team) to coordinate necessary design programme information and requirements.
Key Accountabilities:
- Prepare Conceptual Design studies for potential new projects under the direction of GM, D&P;
- Take leadership role in managing day-to-day coordination of design disciplines (architectural, MEP, interior design) on new Peninsula projects, for both the outside consultants as well as the related in-house managers;
- Ensure that architectural approvals are completed on time and within cost by identifying timely and cost-effective solutions to technical issues arising in the course of projects, to support Project Director.
Profile:
- Graduated in Architecture or equivalent in the Structural Design field (eliminatory);
- At least 5 years of previous work experience with 5 stars opening or pre-opening hotel (eliminatory);
- Previous work experience as an in-house Architect;
- Experience with 5-star hotel design;
- Full competency of hotel space planning and related architectural design;
- Strong foundation in technical matters and familiarity with AUTOCAD (eliminatory);
- Understanding of practical construction methods to execute quality designs cost-effectively;
- Understanding of the latest design trends (style and technology) and their place in the development of long-term design solutions;
- Strong leadership in team discussions;
- Knowledge in other languages: French and/or Mandarin (privileged);
- Availability to travel between Hong Kong and the project locations (Europe).
Conditions:
- Very attractive salary conditions - RBA: € 100.000;
