Main Purpose of the role
As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) you will ensure our customers get the best quality of service. Identify where we can expect and how we can tolerate systems failures and help improve service availability. Work closely with our developers and architects in every part of our products life-cycle to build and run services and systems that respond consistently and reliable.
You will develop your soft and technical skills by taking part in all related activities and your contribution will also be part of the solution design and implementation.
You should be a security advocate and your know-how should be spread around the organization.
Key Responsibilities
• Working with the Developers, QA, Architect and other Engineering teams to identify and ensure all components match high-availability scenarios and to uphold excellent standards of quality and security;
• Working with Security, Problem and Incident teams by identifying risks and supporting incident resolution to a closure and prevent repetition;
• Developing tools and new solutions to enable self-service for other teams, making sure the development teams can deliver as fast as they can, making sure security is taken into account on all stages;
• Developing the automation needed to make sure our systems keep updated and secured;
• Work as a curator for all the images/templates that are used on the automation (Infrastruture as Code);
• Work as a DevOps enabler on the environments that need to comply with more security restrictions and work towards its certification.

• Configuration management and versioning (e.g. Git)
• Configuration automation (e.g Ansible)
• Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform)
• Virtualization (e.g. VMware, KVM)
• Containers runtime and orchestration (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
• CI/CD tools (e.g. GitLab, Jenkins)
• Cloud platforms (e.g. Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud)
