About the Company:

PowerHandling is a designer and manufacturer of innovative, compact materials handling devices used in industrial and commercial applications world-wide. It is a growing company with unique, multi-patented technologies and products that are market leaders in the niches into which they are sold. Additionally, PowerHandling will be launching a number of exciting new products in 2018 and 2019.
While the US operations have been established more than 12 years, the European operation in Portugal is just 3 years old. The Portugal office coordinates sales and support for all PowerHandling product lines through-out the EMEA region plus Brazil (additionally, all new product development and engineering is done from the Portuguese operation).
Inside Sales & Business Development for German speaking countries:

This role is a combination of inbound and outbound communications, predominantly phone, email and all B2B with the focus being on German speaking countries. Product and market training will be provided however basic experience in sales, particularly inside sales, is a major advantage.

Portuguese is not required. Experience in or at least some familiarity with equipment of a mechanical / electrical nature will be an advantage, but not essential. Competency in use of a computer and common business applications (Microsoft Office Suite and CRM / Contact Management Software) is very important.
Compensation will be a combination of base salary and sales’ commission.
Job description
What you will be tasked to do:
• Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
• Understanding customer needs and requirements
• Routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
• Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
• Expedite/take ownership of the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
• Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
• Track sales and maintain client records in CRM
• Create and calculate offerings, track contracts and help close deals
• Supply management with reports on customer needs, challenges, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
• Keep abreast of best practices and contribute to an iterative improvement of Apiax’ sales process
• Continuously improve through feedback
Job qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
• Good communication and written skills, both in German and English (mandatory);
• Minimum experience of one year in Sales / Customer Service
• Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
• Expedite/take ownership of the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
• Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
• Computer knowledge with intermediate to advanced experience.
