SBT Solutions is an IT Consultancy firm based in the United Kingdom that provides leading Business Intelligence solutions and services to prestigious clients across several different industry sectors such as Banking, Telecom, Trasportation and Retail. Doing business since 2005, SBT Solutions has since delivered a number of very successful projects, all of them to clients based in the North of Europe. We are specialists in Microsoft BI technology and aim to provide excellent standards of service using highly qualified and experienced professionals.
Our company is opening Branch Offices in Portugal from which services and solutions will be designed, developed and implemented exclusively for our UK and North European clients.
We are accepting job applications for Business Intelligence Consultants that have worked solidly in BI Development for at least the last 18 months, with exposure to some of the following pertinent technologies:
- Full understanding of Extract Transform Load (ETL) concepts and technologies (hands on SSIS experience highly desirable, others such as Informatica, SAS, Datastage also valued)
- RDBMS (hands on SQL Server experience highly desirable, others such as Oracle,DB2, Sybase also valued)
- Report authoring tools with SSRS or Cognos, Microstrategy
- OLAP Cubes desirable, using SSAS or Cognos, Microstrategy
- Data Warehousing principles, Kimball Methodology
- Ability to interpret complex business requirements and the source database structures to design and create BI solutions
- Any exposure to Microsoft Sharepoint would be a plus
- Any relevant programming skills with MDX, .NET both( Visual Basic and C# will be valued
As for non-technical skills, we require you to:
- Have a reasonable level of spoken and written English as it’s the language used on all our projects.

- Be willing to go the extra mile to ensure delivery of key projects and that customer expectations are met or exceeded
- Be self-motivated, hard working and willing to contribute strongly to a team and to the overall success
- It is also imperative that the successful candidate is a confident and knowledgeable-enough individual to carry out work independently.
