New Vibrations is looking candidates with the following skills:
Job Description:
• Perform engineering systems design in the development and support of messaging services and
solutions (SMS, VMS, MMS, USSD, WAP, etc.);
• Work with other team members on engineering tasks such as design, integration, performance and
capacity measurement, as well as analysis, growth, and testing;
• Ensure product specifications, accuracy of implementation and quality of operations client
standards are met;
• Work with Systems Integration and Validation teams to ensure the completion of ''hands-on'' testing
and verification of all features and functions required by the client;
• Create and execute engineering system acceptance test cases;
• Troubleshoot the Transmission Control Protocol (TCP)/Internet Protocol (IP) protocol suite, as well
as Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), Media Gateway Control Protocol (MGCP), Simple Mail Transfer
Protocol (SMTP), Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP) and Short Message Peer to Peer
(SMPP) protocol, Intelligent Network Application Protocol (INAP), CAMEL and WIN;
• Script in SQL and UNIX Shell Scripting.
Minimum Required Skills / Competencies:
• Minimum Experience Years: 5 years;
• High Level of English language knowledge both written and spoken;
• Experience troubleshooting the TCP/IP protocol suite, as well as SIM, MGCP, IMAP, SMTP, SMPP,
INAP, CAMEL and WIN protocols;
• Experience performing engineering systems design;
• Experience in SQL and UNIX Shell Scripting;
• Experience designing and troubleshooting messaging systems;
• Experience creating and executing engineering system acceptance test cases.
