As a Credit Control Assistant, you'll be responsible for the following tasks:
- Work together with Credit Control Manager, defining monthy collection actions, such as, customers to be called, meetings with small customers, pre-lawyers letters to be sent.
- Work, in a daily basis, in collections, with a strong focus on 24h and maintenance& repair debts.
- Approve credit limits (e.g. for 24h) according one "withe list" provided by Credit Control Manager.
- Control if the measures defined in the internal credit meetings are being done, making the link between credit control, sales and customer service departments.
- Control, together with clerical assistants, the payment of taxes / penalties debts made to thirds (dealers and customers).
- Assist Credit Control Manager making the credit meetings minutes.
- Responsible for opening new customers.
- Control if all the necessary info for invoicing authorization (such as bank financial approval) are ok.
- Manage all customer processes (archive and data update).
The ideal candidate should have:
- Relevant Degree (Accountancy, Finance, Management or Economy);
- At least 3 years of previous professional experience in the same function;
- Goal orientation;
- Excellent analytic skills;
- Strong interaction ability;
- Ability to negotiate;
- Be a Team Leader.
