Resumo: the City Zoo and the City Sport facilities
Tarefas: The activities for Zoo&Sports project are:
- helping the staff of the Zoo to provide the animals as much of their natural habitat as possible, from planting and taking care of grassy plains, maintenance of tall grass for resting and hiding the animal’s young, helping them make nests, creating shades for animals that need to hide from the sun during summer months, etc.
- maintenance of all sport facilities and grounds in the city of Osijek
- support of indoor and outdoor pools
- support of the pool for training non-swimmers
- helping in the fitness centre
- maintenance and support of ice rinks
- help with Web administration – For this activity, it is desirable that the volunteer knows how to operate a computer and has knowledge of using the internet. The point of this activity is to promote the work of the Institute. There will be a gallery on the web-site, and the volunteer will be given a chance to take pictures of their activities and publish them.- an opportunity to write a monthly article on a topic of his/her choice and support of the ICSD staff
- an opportunity to be part of a professional scentific research with the cooperation of the State University in Osijek. Some of the themes of the research are: Youth Mobility and EU, drug and alcohol abuse, AIDS prevention, women’s rights etc.
Requisitos: Ter entre 18 e 30 anos
For this activity, it is desirable that the volunteer knows how to operate a computer and has knowledge of using the internet
