Permanent MANAGEMENT level position in the Business & Management sector in West Africa.
We are looking for a candidate who has at least 5 years of management experience within Agriculure. Responsible for the overall performance and operations of the company departments
Key function in the role are operations, financial and HR management.
Formulate goals and objectives to achieve company goals and avoid risks
Ensure strategies (goals and objectives) are implemented by the assigned department
Analyze and assess continually the company's performance against the stated objectives
Ensure that all operations of the Company run smoothly and according to company policy through planning, direction and co-ordination of various aspects of the operating area.
The areas will include but are not limited to general staff, Managers (Resort, Maintenance, Farm) etc.
Develop an operational plan such as (procurement, assembly, service support and contract manufacturing for the growth and launch of the company's products and services)
Review financial statements together with the CFO and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and determine areas needing cost reduction and programme improvement
Direct and co-ordinate the company's financial and budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments and increase efficiency
Oversee all budgets for the different areas and reporting monthly to the CFO
Make presentations to the executive team
Write monthly reports on business operations for the executive team
Plan the use of materials and human resources
Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives and procedures, confer with board members, company officials and staff as necessary
Supervise and manage other managers and staff therefore providing the required discipline, evaluations and feedback required for his/her people to be successful
Good knowledge of Portuguese and English languages
Knowledge of management principles
Knowledge of sales and marketing principles
The location of this project is very remote.
