For Vodafone Global Enterprise, the M2M market will be a strategic focus in the future. In this role it will be up to you to take the technical lead for the design and consultancy of M2M solutions for customers within local Operating Company’s, defined regions and VGE.

The role of M2M Solution Architect will be a key position within the M2M department.
As a Solutions Architect your main responsibilities will involve:
· Working closely with local Key Account Management in qualification of sales leads, and to present and sell complex M2M solutions to Business customers
· Assessing technical solution complexity and deliverability at both a global and OpCo level
· Taking responsibility for the technical solution to be offered to local M2M customers
· Providing expert opinion on M2M devices, modules and industry developments
· Pro-actively capturing customer requirements and ensuring they are taken into account
As a Solutions Architect your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
· BSc, MSc IT/EE qualification or equivalent
· Detailed knowledge of data communication, network, software application and IT technologies
· Experience in telecoms/IT design
· Proven technical sales experience
· Strong commercial management skills, including contractual and commercial negotiation experience
What we will be looking for in you:
A strong communicator with excellent customer relationship management skills, you’ll be able to interact comfortably with everyone up to Director level. You’ll also have good decision making skills, and an ability to balance conflicting interests. In addition, you will be a good team player with the ability to listen and support people as well as influence them.
