Head of Clinical Data Management

Job Purpose:

The Data Management team mission is to provides services and tools to collect, monitor, clean and report clinical and epi data to support our GSK Bio product portfolio.

Within the Data Management team, the Head, Study Set-Up, is responsible for the set-up of the tools to collect, monitor, clean and report all vaccines trials worldwide. To achieve this ambitious objective, he/she can count on a team of 40+ staff composed (CRF Designers and Analysts/Programmers).


Responsibilities:

Business support:
- Definition of standards data collection tool and related computer programs used to clean, monitor and report data;
- Customization of standards to study-specific requirements;
- Owner of the SOPs, documentation, processes and good practices shared by the team;
- Deliver the mission according to business priorities and in compliance with good clinical practices (GCP), GSK policies and standard operating procedures (SOP)
- Provide Data Management expertise in multi-disciplinary taskforces of process improvements

People management:
- Lead, within the Data Management department, a team of 40+ people
- Direct line management of 4 reports, each of them in charge of a team
- Indirect management over off-shored colleagues located in India and out-sourced collaborators worldwide


Global organization:
- CRFs and tools deployed by the team have an impact on phase I to IV clinical and epidemiological trials conducted by GSK Biologicals worldwide.



Profile

- 10+ years of experience in Clinical Data Management
- Proven experience in people management
- Capacity to lead, influence, networking
- English is a must, French is an asset
